Red rash on the surface of the skin?
When I get sick like a cold, tired more than exersion stressed the physical or mental, or even by food poisoning, I break out in a rash mainly on my torsso but also in the arms and legs. It is a little itchy but not much and if serious, I will peel later. What is all this? More like rash on eczema. Goes away after resting, and yes, something like Mary.
Hives Hives are probably caused by an allergic reaction in the body. Histamine is released into the skin and causes areas of inflammation. Hives are they alike? They appear as red or white, raised bumps on the skin. They can appear suddenly out of nowhere, and can spread rapidly. They are more common in the chest, abdomen and back, but may also be in the extremities, and rarely in the face. A very distinct characteristic of hives is that each welt often come and go over a period of 10 15 minutes or until a few hours. You will see some welts on the tummy, and then look again an hour later and find that they were, just to see the new in back. Hives can be small or very large, round or irregularly shaped, single or clustered together and shoot more. In general, itching, but not always. WHAT CAUSES HIVES? There are many possible causes of hives: Disease – diseases are the most common cause of hives in children. The body may have an allergic reaction to the disease. These diseases are often viruses, but can be any cause. So if your child is sick, and broke out in hives, is probably due to the disease. A note – no worry about what the disease could be causing the hives. If no fever or symptoms of any disease, then the hives, are probably not due to the disease. If there is fever but no other symptoms, then it is probably a harmless virus. Click on foot to get help on what to do. Food – food that most commonly cause hives are seafood, nuts, berries and fish. Think of any new food that your child can eat in the last 24 hours. Medications – All medication that potentially can cause hives. Think back over the past 24 hours. Has your child any medication (do not have to be a new medicine)? If your child is ill, has been using any medication for colds or new type of pain or fever medication? If so, it may be difficult to know whether Urticaria is a disease or medicine. External irritants – not a great variety of substances that children come into contact with each day you may be allergic too. The list includes new soap or shampoo, laundry detergent or softener new fabrics, new tanning lotion or other, new clothes, blankets or bedding, and play outdoors the grass and shrubs. Try to think of something new that could have been in contact with the skin of his son. Despite all these possible causes, most often a parent or a doctor can not determine the ultimate cause of the hives. It is not necessary to determine the cause of hives unless your child continues to have a problem with recurrent urticaria.
