What is this rash?

I have a rash on the skin. It has small red bumps and burns badly. It's almost like heat rash, Heat rash usually does not only damage. And the blows are almost 'strong'. They are rounded blows, if that makes sense. Its only in an area small in the hand, but its VERY painful. I initially thought it was dry skin, until I looked this morning. Also, I burned my right hand side where rash is a few days before Christmas and his recovery so far. Could anyone possibly tell me what this sounds like? Thank you.
