My skin is so itchy, WHY!?

A couple of weeks, my elbow started to itch very badly, but there was no sign of eruption, scales, lumps, swelling or dryness. Now, my whole body itches insane amounts! My arms, legs, back, chest, even my ass! I can not understand, because again, I have no rash, bumps, discoloration, flakes, swelling, or dryness (I have LOADS hydrated using this remarkable material An intensive moisturizing I have). I am desperate to know what could be, but everything I've looked up just says it could be psoriasis, xerosis or eczema, but all require clear signs of the rash / bumps, etc and I have none of those! It's driving me absolutely crazy and I can keep scratching up to 30 minutes at a time before begin to tear away at my skin and becomes painful, so I have to stop … I would appreciate any help that could point me in the right direction, the because it will take time before coming to see my doctor! Thanks! x

Your skin may still be dry. My skin tends to itch all winter. Although I use an insane amount of lotion, oil, I was still very dry. Drink plenty of water and take a bath oil infusion to help with the itching.
