Is there any more of the antibiotics against staph infection?

I found a dog laying under a truck and it seemed being in a fight or bitten by a spider, if I found him three days ago, but his rash, they thought I was a sting has become significantly bigger than I did some research and I'm pretty sure is a staphylococcal infection. Just want to know if any of the antibiotics against infection Staph. Please anyone tell me the vet take him, I'd love but I live on my own and can not afford to unless I go to donate, please help find a cure. if not I'll have to take him to the pound to be put to sleep.
