accutane – rash?

accutane takiing I've been around a month and two weeks. The first month I was at a low dose, 10 mg. After that I realized My reaction was not dry skin or get it at all. So, my dermatologist increased my dose to 40 mg. my acne isn't severe, the moderate right. Today I woke up with a rash of spots all over my face (especially in areas where my jawline when I have acne at all) and the top of my hands were burning and red. Is it because of the Accutane? i havent changed anything with my cleanser and moisturizer, but Ive changed detergent washed my face with rags. I am very concerned and I'm not sure if this could be an allergic reaction, but why would they take a month to occur? any suggestions?

Yes, it is Accutane is likely that is causing it.I am currently on 50 mg of Accutane by day. This is my second year, the other was a few years ago but I seem to remember that before entering the rash so in google it.Turns out many people make a red rash with bumps in the hands, arms, etc. My hands have become ill last days.I found that cortisone cream seems to help, and any moisturizer that is for sensitive skin.Glaxal Base Moisturizer is good, you can get at the pharmacy. Mine is and goes, but lately only to maintain hydration area.Good luck! I hope this helped.Oh and another thing …. I do not know what you use to wash your face with, but not use anything with fragrance, because it seems to irritate the skin.Cetaphil is a cleaner you can get at the pharmacy and its soft skin. You can also be used throughout your body. :)
