Lamictal Rash?

I was taking Lamictal, but has "flare." I let things take about a week, but the rash still there and I feel sick (which may not be related, but not sure). Anyway, I went to a doctor today and gave me some cream for Thus, even though they had used Cortizone Plus. I talked to my psychiatrist and that's what told me to use. I am concerned that will not go away? How long does normally disappear? Does anyone have any advice, because surely could use some. In addition, my skin feels like its kind of burning / itching in some areas not covered by the eruption. I do not know if this is related to everyone. Thank you for your help.

the rash associated with Lamictal is called the Steven-Johnson syndrome and may be an important immune response. Some people may have to make topical or oral steroids very hard to stop complete reaction (OTC cortisone-plus is a very weak steroid cream). Try taking some oral benadryl 25 or 50 mg, but could not improve myself goesn't get a second opinion or go to the emergency room. Good luck
