looks like a yeast diaper rash – but not you?
looks like a diaper rash yeast, but is it? My daughter 12 months old has been battling a yeast diaper rash for about 3 months now. She has gone to the doctor three times. She has had three different anti-fungal ointment, all of which initially helped the rash, but after a week or two the rash becomes ever. She has not had the probiotics or pills, because the doctor said that only local infection in the skin (on the front). Le change frequently and have maintained very good hygiene with her since the eruption began. I tried both fabrics and a good brand of disposable diapers, but the rash becomes ever. Does anyone else have any experience or knowledge about this? Could something to be the cause of the rash to return each time? Or is that only I have to live with this until she is potty trained? Thank you very much for your understanding.
My daughter suffered from candidiasis when I was about two or three months of age. My doctor gave him an oral antibiotic and an antifungal ointment. I used the ointment up that the eruption was not visible, but I had to be alert to continue with oral medicines. I had stopped to turn too early and then turned the eruption. He began in them again and left. I continued for the prescribed time and had no problems. Maybe talk to your doctor again or a chat with a pharmacist help me too. In the Intermediate until the rash has healed, follow every one elses advice and keep the diaper off as much as possible. They also told me to ensure I was completely dry before putting a fresh diaper. It suggested using a hair dryer on the bottom at a low level for a minute or so. Good luck.
