My friend has a skin rash of small dots that itch has been scratched in big red dry patches …?

and has now been extended to your chest, arms and hands. I tried to find out what it is but I can not seem to know what could be. He has tried anti-itch creams and calamine lotion. It gets worse and worse. If nothing else we want to see what's going to make it stop itching .. because that is what is causing the spread (I think).
